The Founding
In 2008, Sean Marszalek and Devenee Schumacher were fed up with what the supplement industry was putting on the shelves. Artificial flavors, misleading health claims, and filler ingredients had become the norm. Determined to raise the standard, they set out to create a company built on transparency, quality, and products consumers could truly trust.
In 2009, SDC Nutrition was founded in Pittsburgh, PA with one core commitment: clean, honest, high-quality products. Drawing on Devenee’s culinary background and passion for product development, the company quickly established a reputation for innovative formulations and customer-focused solutions. What began as a mission to create better products has grown into a trusted partner for brands seeking expertise, integrity, and excellence at every stage of development.
