General Questions
We have various communication styles: email, text, phone calls, or any other preferred method.
Our preferred method of payment is ACH or wire however we will accept checks and we can also accept credit cards for payments under $10k.
If we shipped your products via an SDC approved carrier, we would need pictures along with a copy of the notated BOL to recover the costs of the damages from the carrier in which case we will work with the carrier to resolve the situation immediately!
Custom Formulations
No – we rotate inventory on over 1000 unique ingredients. And we’re 100% turnkey, so anything we don’t currently purchase we will source on the customer’s behalf.
We require a 50% deposit which helps secure the raw material and components for your order.
$500 product development fee is typical, but it is applied as a credit to your account and will be applied to your first SDC invoice.
This is applicable to a planned order:
Capsules: 240,000 capsules
Powders: Most products – 1500 units
Heavier units (5 lbs +) – 500 to 700 depending on the product
No, the setup process is the same whether you are interested in one of our branded formulations or if you’d like to customize your own formula.
Depending on the raw materials needed for your project, there may be an R&D fee for samples.
Yes, our Quality Department works with our customer daily to provide the needed documentation to register internationally.
Our lead times for new products are 6-8 weeks and for recurring orders, you can expect 4-6 week lead times. The reason the first order takes longer is usually due to longer lead times from suppliers for new labels, ingredients, packaging etc.
Our Vice President of Custom Formulations, Dan, has experience with formulations and can help you create your custom formulation.
No, our Contract Manufacturing department has over 30 years of experience formulating products.
Facility Questions
Yes, in fact, we encourage it. We are very open and transparent with everything in our facility. We want you to be comfortable with where your products will be produced. Our CEO, Sean Marszelak, often says: “If your supplement manufacture won’t let you tour the facility, something is wrong.”
We flavor all of our powder formulas in house which allows for much more flexibility in flavors used and a much shorter lead time for samples.
