SDC Nutrition, Inc., the number one dry protein manufacture in western Pennsylvania, is honored to announce Devenee Schumacher as the new Vice President of Marketing. Devenee is the co-founder of SDC Nutrition and recently served as the director of natural brand management. Devenee commented, “It’s exciting to get promoted in any job that provides growth and understanding of the company brands. It allows one to gain knowledge of competitors on the market, and accept all of the challenges it takes to not only build a business, but see your goals come to life…” Devenee’s culinary background has allowed her to experience all aspects of the food and restaurant industry, which led to the start of her own brand and business with her partner and current CEO Sean Marszalek.

This promotion will help Devenee guide her team with SDC’s goal to three of the four supplement brands the company owns. This rebrand includes over twenty-five new products across all four brands and will be launched by mid-2017. – “A brand needs a new look every three to five years tops, to stay new and exciting. Devenee attended Pennsylvania’s culinary institute and graduated valedictorian of her class. She then started her career working for the Duquesne Club, the number one city club in the United States. She left the restaurant industry to work for Whole Foods Market surrounding herself in the world of organic foods. After five rewarding years with Whole Foods Market, Devenee decided to spread her entrepreneurial wings and start her own business in the nutrition industry. This lead to the creation of the About Time brand and SDC Nutrition Inc.
